 Six years ago the farm decided to keep some rare breed Longhorn
cattle for their visual appeal. The meat proved to be so tender
and flavoursome that the farm increased the  Longhorn numbers and invested
in some Highland cattle. Presently the farm has 56 Longhorn and Highland
cattle on an extensive system. The aim is to keep the stock numbers as low
as possible so that Revesby farms can guarantee quality cuts of meat every
time.
All cattle are slaughtered in a local abattoir and prepared at local butchers. Due to the demand the farm sells the meat to both restaurants and private customers, for more information please contact the Estate
